Last nights accomodation was excellent but none of us really got any sleep... trains working on through the night.... strange beds.... starting to wind down ... etc etc etc ....
The car is really good - not very old at all and only 40000 on the clock... We set our course on 'Sally' to go to KatiKati... but decided that the distance was too short for a day trip as we were only to arrive at Brian and Gayes' late afternoon. Sooo - we set up a couple of intermediate towns that pushed our course up to the town of Clevedon (where I braved a haircut), and then on to KawaKawa Bay, and then on to several more unpronouncable places and finally down to KataKati. What a beautiful area of the world this really is (Lyall)
