Day 5 - On to Taupo

Today we leave Katikati and Brian and Gaye and travel down to Taupo. Not much to show as the day is really just travelling through Rotorua and on to Taupo. (Lyall)

Well actually we stopped at Rotorua to decide on accomodation and fortunately for us the local caravan park was full. Oh well the dilema of where to go so we went to McDonald's for Wotif. after some deliberations and Janets wanting 5star we booked at Taupo the Wotif can't tell you what hotel it is. So we arrived to find that we booked a room that was all fully booked. Bother!!!

Oh let's upgrade you to waterfront three bedroom lush lush Oh my it's an amazing room. We gasped in awe and wonder at the superlishous yumminess of this place.

We are staying now till they throw us out. On to Michelle for her interpretation of the day. She is eating her something special and told me to Shut Up ala Paris Hilton.

Signed JANET.

NOW ...Shells version of today:

Well, for a start they are picking on me! But anyway the day has been great. Driving down here we have found a lot of stuff that we are going to look at over the next couple of days.......Janet is threatening to throw herself off a high precipice and hopefully emerge with her retinas attached!..... I will be there with the camera! Lyall is on duty to catch the dinner for tomorrow night so we will see how that goes! They are all lounged on the very large lounge watching the even larger TV. I could tell you what we are going to do tomorrow but I don't think we know yet so you will have to check up again for the continuing story!!

Love to all xxxx

The spa is interesting, I'm sure it's lovely but it looks like your sitting in some sort of cross between a laundry and scrub sink actually come to think of it a REALLY big urinal!!!!

Shame about the upgrade! It all looks gorgeous wish we were there :-) By the way if you loose your retina's jumping off a cliff attached to a rubber band don't come crying to me I'm sure I instilled a higher level of common sense than that! but apparently I failed you somewhere :-)

Looking forward to the pictures of you crapping yourself, your a braver woman than I!!

Love you all
